Downloading and installing VirtualBoss on your computer is easy.
#1. The first thing your computer will do is ask you
to select a location to place the file. Save it to your
hard drive. When you save a file to your hard drive, you
can direct the file to the folder of your choice. The easiest
method is to accept the folder your computer chooses for
you. Note the location of the folder to where vbsetup.exe
will be saved. If you save it to your desktop its a good
idea to move it some place else as some users will accidently
run the install program again when they are just trying
to run VirtualBoss.
#2. Once the download is complete click your way to the
file ( vbsetup.exe ) with Windows Explorer or similar program.
Then double-click on the file to start the installation.
From there, follow the on-screen instructions. For more
detailed instructions on this step, read below.
IF YOU'RE HAVING TROUBLE WITH
STEP #2 IN THE INSTRUCTIONS ABOVE:
1. Make sure VirtualBoss is not running.
2. Open Windows Explorer (follow steps a, b, and c) (a)
Click Start at the bottom of your screen (b) Click Programsd
(c) Find and start Windows Explorer You can also just click
on My Computer on your desktop.
3. Navigate to the directory where the file was stored.
(See next section if you cannot find your downloaded file)
4. Double- click on the file you just downloaded, (vbsetup.exe).
This will start the update process.
5. From there, follow the on-screen prompts to finish
the update.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN'T FIND THE FILE I JUST DOWNLOADED
IN STEP #3 ABOVE?
A. Go to Windows Start Button (at the bottom left corner
of your screen); then click on Find; then Files or Folders.
B. Type vbsetup.exe in the box where it asks for the
name. Make sure to look in C:\
C. Make sure the box that says "Include subfolders"
is checked so it will search your entire hard-drive.
D. Hit Enter or click on Find Now. The computer will
then search and find the file.
E. Double click on the file found, (i.e. vbsetup.exe).
This will start the update program.
F. Follow the on-screen prompts. After these steps, the
latest version of VirtualBoss will be installed.
